Happy Place by Emily Henry
Nostalgia is so incredibly personal, which is why Henry’s ability to bottle it up and quench the masses thirst is such an incredible talent.
I think to a degree, we all fear change. Whether it keeps you from going out or gives you the rush that pushes you into new things, it still produces some form of reaction. Happy Place isn’t just a romance, it’s an ode to change, an ode to the scary steps we all have to take in life to get a bigger and better life.
I’ve yet to rate an Emily Henry book anything less than a 5/5. Stay tuned to see if the Queen of Nostalgia can get knocked, but let’s be honest, probably not.
